I am currently using code 100 flex track. Some of my older cars derail on occasion. Do re-railers actually work or are they not worth the time to install. I do have one on the line to make it easier to place my loco on the rails. Currentl I have some old ones, just never used them.

Yes they do work. If you have them, you should use them.

If they work I am thinking after some troublesome switches. Also I have one area that is a pain to reach. Rarely have an issue there but when something does go off track it is a pig pain. Also I was thinking of using them as road crossings.

i'm going to stick a couple here and there...
but so far it seems that the curved rerailers are bit painfull to work with. so no curved ones for me. or perhaps it a poor sample that i got...

I would ask, are you going to use a power supply? Then I'd use the rerailers.

also thinking of road crossing.but cutting the outside plate down,I guess that is what you would call it, to fit my road.I don't think my roads are going to be the right scale anyhow.they are only 3 inchs wide.I have a 3 inch wide paint roller,and black paint,to do my roads with.

I use rerailers as grade crossings on my HO layout..
