I couldn't get any takers on my engines so I put them on eBay. For your perusal and consideration:

Athearn Genesis BNSF SD75M:

(2)Bachman Spectrum Dash8-40CW tagged for CNW(listed seprately):

VERY low starting price. Help an old fella thin the herd.

I checked eBay finished listings or the Spectrums and the Genesis before I posted and found some that sold for $30+ more than I was asking plus shipping. I was offering free shipping with mine, about an $8-$10 savings. None of the Spectrums I saw on eBay were CNW, and in further checking, I found that this road had one of the fewest numbers produced and marketed. Which, I found a bit odd. But, what the heck do I know?

The Genesis units were sold at $135, older units as well, plus a few had $15 shipping. That's $150 to buy one, if my math is correct. None were in the BNSF #1 scheme. Plenty of Santa Fe's, though, in Warbonnet.

Believe me, Anton, I researched the engines BEFORE putting them on the forum. I was willing to accept reasonable offers. But, wasn't willing to give them away as they were essentially brand new, unrun except for testing. Good quality engines are hard to find. Even more so in the past 5 years. And evidently the CNW seem to be a bit rare. Maybe for good reason, who knows?

So many times on here, someone posts something for sale and a member would make a lower offer. Like all, I wanted all I could get, but was open to offers.

They are now listed on eBay and the market will dictate what I get. And the starting bids are very reasonable, I think. I had a powered Erie-Lackawanna Athearn BB GP9 High Nose sell for almost $75 dollars plus shipping a while back. Talk about surprised!!! A Blue Box engine!!! $75!!! WOW!!! I wouldn't have paid over $25-$30 for it, but, I won't complain. Brag, yes. Complain, no.

Thanks for your input though. The next round is on you........Beam on the rocks, tall, here, please.
