Ok well, I just got done wiring my layout and doing a few test laps and i have 1 serious problem. Every place there's a switch either my engine or any random car will derail. It's only when going in one direction and I see exactly what it is. The problem is the notch they put in the rail so when the movable rail comes back over it sits a little more flush. Well when the movable rail isn't there the wheels will climb up this notch and derail. I was thinking about filing them down to make it not so square, but I have 11 of them to do. Ugh! LOL....... Other than that the track works great hehehe.......Suggestions, other than the obvious (replacement) are accepted!!!

yep, the beauty of snap-switches. i filed mine down to get acceptable performance. not much required just make that square point little bit bore round so flanges don't catch on them.

but the the main suggestion is - replace with quality turnout and don't look back. now i'm wondering why i myself did not do it sooner
