have a couple of these and would like to replace atlas slide switch with a momentary push button . need help what to buy .

But with built in capacitive discharge unit and ability to have LED indicators it’s a very decent option. With momentary switches there is the risk of burning out the coil if held down too long.

I agree, they are quality items however they take up a lot of space on the panel. A single CDU will work a whole layout but if LEDs is what you want, go for it. As far as holding the button to long, just don't do it.

In 10 pak form that $5.40 a switch, and you have piece of mind that you won't destroy the atlas solenoid's. cheaper than the atlas relay!

That's a decent price. Any quality switch from Honeywell, Alps, or Cherry will cost at least that much.

I've spent up to $40 on Honeywell toggle switches for my 727 simulator.
