A fellow modeler passed recently.
I inherited this piece, new old stock.
Opened it up for oil job, never had the smoke unit filled.

I could not catch the cab number in your video. If it is 804 it is a fine runner. Very smooth. One of Bachmanns nice early steamers. Congrats on the addition.

I may sell it, it's too big for my tiny shelf.
It's an 809, pancake motor.
Pictures show the loco parked on 20" radius, other rail is 22.5" radius. The video is an 18" S-curve on the trestle.

So what's a little overhang between friends? She looks right at home in what appears
to be Utah. It is nice that this piece can run, and I'm sure it is what your friend
would have wanted.

I find micro layouts rather interesting- could you post a photo of your shelf layout?
