A sharp looking tanker. I don't have any 1:43 TT's on the layout but do have quite a few 1:53's. I realize there a little to big for "O" scale but I really like the details that Tonkin puts on them.

It will actually be a tiny bit too small - 1:53 models are 10% smaller than 1:48, even as 1:43 are 10% larger than true scale. But 10% is not a really noticeable difference in many cases. Put a 1:53 and 1:43 truck side by side and yes - something will seem amiss. But either alone, not near anything of the other scale, will not seem terrible amiss. At least that is how it is on my layout.

The really good detail of the Tonkin Minatures is a great feature, but the way, one that makes them, as you say, very desireable on the layout.

I love the looks of the New Ray 1:43 semis, but they seem huge to me. I was looking for farm related vehicles like stock trailers and grain haulers. This one looks really good in your pictures.
