I just bought an unopened new old stock Bachmann Spectrum GP30. As per the instructions I am currently breaking it in. I have noticed that the loco makes an intermittent buzzing (almost like a horn) noise. Will this go away? Is this normal? What is this noise? It occurs far more frequently at low speeds. I have not taken the loco past 60% yet due to it not being fully brocken in. It has never even pulled a car to date. It is a Canadian Pacific Road Number 8200.

is it the same buzz cordless drill makes on low RPM? then it is probably PWM in action. then again, do model RR use PWM at all or is it all voltage variation?
It is a similar sound but has a higher pitch. After running an hour it is less but still there.
