so in the bachmann catalog for 2009-20?? i could have got a engine for 40$ but now all they have is dcc and/or sound
for 200-300$ when will they return to some DC w/ no sound stuff?

Usually the retail prices are better than catalog prices also. Although you are right you pay more for DCC.
