Thrust ...

I noticed a lot of sparking on the center pickup under the motor. Are you using only one roller pickup?

With all that power, could the thrust have a slight downward tilt? Providing lift at the rear of the car and impacting the center pickup.

Just thoughts from all the sparking.

just using a single roller contactor for now, i will eventually install a locomotive contactor, so far this has been an ongoing experiment. i am surprised it works as well as it does with that single roller contactor. it was NOT designed to handle this amount of current.
