I have several cars that I need to upgrade or replace the wheels / axles on. Where can I find the best deals? I am looking to goto metal or the ones that come in the Athern Blue Box kits if the price is right. I am on a tight budget and am looking to to convert at least 10 cars.

You can find them on ebay but I get mine from my local hobby shop.I got the big box that comes with like a 100 or 200 wheels for like 45.00. Thats the best way I found to get them

Northwest Shortlines(NWSL). Atlas also makes them. Metal wheels cost more. I have a few plastic wheelsets. How many pairs do you need?

One note, passenger cars use 36" wheels, while MOST freight cars use 33" wheels. Be careful not to mix them.

I only run freight at this time. My curves will not handle the long cars gracefully. Are they the plastic type with the metal axle? If so I am looking for about 40. Let me know.
