My MTH Premier 70 foot Madison RPO, item # 20-4270. Looks like the axel journal busted, very, very small attachment point. Don't think it was anything else but a weak connecting point. I doubt that super glue will hold it together, maybe I can find another set of 3 axel trucks to repair it.

I’ve had good luck with JB Weld. Just be certain to allow for a 24 drying time.

The cars made around 2005, early sprung trucks, had a issue with zinc rot. Same thing happened to my NYC cars from the same period. For a few years MTH would replace them if you returned the broken truck. I guess these days you are on your own. The earlier trucks with simulated springs are OK and you may find those cars are reasonable prices. I was able to acquire a 5 car set from the early 90s for under 100 bucks or twenty bucks for two pair of trucks.
Epoxy may work for a while but they will just break someplace else.

On the bright side I have been able to use the wheelsets on some 2 to 3 rail conversions.
