A few years ago at the Amherst show I bought a kit 'Pop's Clam Shell'. It is a roadside food stand. The package says little or no instructions, true! It consists of laser-cut wood, plastic, and printed pieces. Has anybody built this or similar kits? Do you have any pointers or suggestions since there are no instructions? Thanks.

Well, the obvious suggestion is don't buy any more kits that don't have detailed instructions if you need them. Many craftsman kits assume you have already built a number of kits and know how to proceed.

The most important thing to remember is that there really isn't a fixed order. Here is what I would do:
1) Lay everything out and determine what goes where.
2) Assemble the doors and windows and add them to the walls.
3) Put the walls together.
4) Add the roof
5) Add the exterior details.

Some steps might have several substeps -- for instance, installing the roof may involve adding rafters or eaves. Use common sense when considering which parts will need to be assembled before others.
