Very nice, a Winter Wonder Land. :smilie_daumenpos:

Love the log cabin, is that hand made or a kit?

Thanks for the compliments!

To answer a few questions:
- The log cabin is a Department 56 Snow Village piece
- The church (and the other smaller houses in the mountain village) were hand-painted by my mother for my father as a gift in the '70s in a ceramics class. I'm not certain of the maker of the molds. I've searched a few times trying to track the maker down and have been unsuccessful.
- Everything else structure-wise is Department 56, almost all Snow Village.

I have found that O scale looks ok with all of the Department 56 village series. However it seems to be more in scale with the non-Snow Village series, especially when looking at the figures / people. Standard gauge looks best with Snow Village and its figures.

That said, my O layout is almost all Snow Village and I'm running standard gauge with the North Pole and New England villages. I just keep the figures away from the trains. :)
