I have 2 322 hudsons. With sit one i had for a while 2nd one picked up one at hobby shop the tender was empty. Bought another tender . my guestion one tender says american flyer with symbol in corner new york central the other says new york cental no symbol. Why

Early Hudson tenders 1946-47 just New York Central on side of the tender no Herald.They were all SIT....1946-47 sets also came with black track....also a different auto uncoupler....

In 1946 and 1947 Gilbert cataloged the 320, 321 and 322 Hudsons. The 320 was to have no smoke or choo choo. Feature content of these early postwar engines did not always match the catalog description. All 1946 and 1947 Hudsons had the reverse unit in the engines. An empty tender would be from a Hudson w/o smoke and choo choo.
