Anyone know where I can get some HO Scale lanterns that could be wired up as constant lights for a 040 steamer?

Is your track power conventional DC, or DCC? If DC, you'd need some onboard battery source when the transformer is throttled down, right?

I haven't built a layout, yet - but it will be DCC. I have a 040 steamer with dummy lanterns on the front. I guess I could drill them out and install LED's; but it would be better just to cut them off and replace them with scale working ones.
