I HAVE ONE AREA ON MY LAYOUT THAT IS GOING TO HAVE A SHORT AREA OF TRACT( CURVED WITH 1 STRAIGHT SECTION--HO--) that i will be building a curved trestle approx. 18 inches in height. has anyone built their own trestles --curved or straight--
I kitbashed four models to get mine. I had to use a bit of heat to get the curvature right. Used poster board to make the template for the curvature. It's OK. No work of art, though. After it was panted and weathered it actually came out looking pretty fair. Nothing I want to try again in the near future. Maybe I'm just too critical of my own work.
