This 30 minute video is a cab ride in the Allegra ABe 8/12 in the Swiss Alps.

It shows just how tight some of these curves are and this HOm narrow gauge model is well suited to a model railroad using typical 18", 20", 22", and 24" curves.

In standard gauge, these curves would be un-prototypically incorrect even though most of us are stuck using these radii because of space limitations.

If I'd known then what I know now about the Rhätischebahn my entire railroad may have been Swiss based instead of German, Austrian, and Swiss. But I do like the variety of locomotives and rolling stock from modeling all three.
