As you know i bought a 662 dilver or aluminum car with dome it came in today but iam at work i re read it and it said power DC how that be dc if it has just a light inside. Dont understand help. Al

Wait until you get home and can look at it to see what might have been changed. Sometimes people don't know what they're selling or what they have. Maybe it was just described wrong in the seller's post. It could have an LED as Tom C posted above. But it's just guessing until you see it.

Does not make any sense to me. Even if it had LED illumination, in order to run both directions on DC powered track it would need circuitry that would also allow operation on AC.

I see the picture of the 662 in the other thread. Clean the pickup wheels and set it on the track, see if it lights on AC.
