I ordered a train set from internettrains.com I would highly suggest going anywere else for your model train needs. I ordered a train set from them and they never shipped it. I called and was told it would ship that week.. week passed and I called them again .. I was told again it would ship that week
another week passed and the item had still not shipped. so I called again and asked were my item was and was told it would ship in a week. I then asked if they had the item there and was told they did not have it even when the item was avalible.. if they had told me in the beginning that the item was back oredered I would of been ok with that but the strung me along for a month.
so I canceled the order. a week rolled by and I had no recieved my refund for the item they never sent. so I called them and was told that I would be refuneded in the next 24 hours.. that never happened.. so I had to get my bank involved. my bank called them and they told my bank a check would be sent out for my refund as well as an e-mail confimring the date it went out so I could look for it in the mail.. a week later my bank recieved no e-mail and I'v gotten no check.. they are now treating it as fraud.

I'm posting this as a warning so others can avoid this hasel and waste of money.

I ordered from them once, it took a month to get it an overpriced plastic HO ruler. I've seen similar posts on other boards about them. Haven't/wont do business with them again. I don't know how they stay in business.

I'm just curious...

...a person with only one post here has a complaint about a train business. Then another person with only two posts chimes in.

Now I'm not saying the complaint isn't valid because I haven't personally done any business with them...

...it just seems a bit odd. :rolleyes:

I just went through the same ordeal! I ordered a few 2 oz. bottles of Scalecoat II paints & a can of thinner back on 2/22/10. On 3/3/10 they allocated my order & said they were in the process of moving, & were backed up getting orders out. They charged my card on 3/4/10. I gave them 2 weeks before trying to contact them by email with no replies. I gave them another week & called, only to get a recording & no way to speak to a live person. I reported to my credit card company & got the charges removed!!

I agree , but now there is another one with complaints.:D
