Hi all I am very new to dcc so excuse me if this is a “stupid” question.... but I am sure I will have more.

I have wired up my set up with three zones using dcc specialty psx3. With in the three zones I have three reversing loops and a Y and I am using psx ARs. My questions revolves around programing them.

1 for just general operation do I need to program the psx3 or can I just move the jumper pins from program to run?

2 Do I disconnect everything and program them one at a time? Or do I just do this with the psx ar’s I am using.

I hope I am clear and look fwd to some expert help

Thanks Dan

Tom you are correct it is just a circuit breaker. So I guess no programing on them but there is a programing jumper. So I assumed I had to “program” it in some way.

Hm. Total guess here, but it might be that the programming jumper allows for the signal to go through uninhibited? No idea.

Without knowing more, and if it were me, I would remove the circuit breakers and just get your layout running without them. Once it's all working, add your circuit breakers.

Again, I have no idea, but I would not try to troubleshoot more than one thing at a time.

ADDED: posted before bewholes post, so maybe that will help.

Thanks All

I spent all day working on this and got it. Only issue I have now is I have to change all rail joiners on my turnouts from insulated. There was no power to the turnouts and engine stopped I changed one and went right through. Trail and error I guess.
