I have always applied decals over a coat of "Glosscote" but was wondering if it's possoble to put decals directly on smooth plastic if they are set with Solvaset. Thanks, Jerry

Yes, as long as the plastic has a good finish, the decals would go on okay. Usually I,d then spray over with a varnish to seal them, either a matt or satin finish depending on the model.

I put them on about 2 weeks ago & they seemed fine. Haven't sealed them yet due to the extremely wet weather here in the East. You sometime get a "blush" if it's too humid when you paint. Thanks , Jerry
