I have a Mehano SD 40-2. It has the 6 wheel trucks. I do not like the shell that is on it. The engine runs well. What other models would fit this (prototype). Also do any other manufacturer's shells fit directly? If not that is OK since I have no issue with modifying it slightly to make it fit.

Check out ebay and try contacting IHC....they carry Mehano parts. Hope this helped!:thumbsup:

I have been watching EBay. Unfortunately the road names I want are going for close to that of a Blue Box loco.

You can always strip and repaint the shell.........

Many shells may fit with a bit of filing and a little of cutting and shimming.
