Hi everyone,:)

I am a scratch builder of many types of timber bridges from Z scale to O scale.
I have a photo album that shows some of the different types of bridges I build and put up for sale. If you can't find one you like in my album, You can also check out the links below.
If none of these bridges appeal to you I will build a custom bridge that will fit right into the spot in your layout:D:D
The links show specific sizes and prices

Hourly pay

Hi "FLYBOY"2610,

Thanks for the opinion:);)
I am retired now, but if I charged per hour what I made when I was working then I am very sure I would have never sold 1 bridge at all:thumbsdown:
It's my way of staying active in the hobby. And I get my "EGO" inflated when I get responses like yours:D:D And also from my returning customers!!!

I've been building these since January 2008 and have sold just about 60 bridges!! Probably to new people in the hobby and also those that don't want to spend the time to build there own. Most modelers have the skill but a lot just do other things. One of my customers works on his engines!!!
I wouldn't touch an engine with a ten foot pole:rolleyes::eek::thumbsdown:

Thanks again, Dave

Hi Big ed,

Thanks for looking and also finding the error:thumbsup:
I went into my Bonanzel site and changed the description.
When I set up that site I did a lot of copping of bridges to other scales than the initial build.

Regards, Dave

I don't know how far back people will look through a thread and since my original post is over 3 months old and the forum has had so many new members, I decided to update this thread.

Hello big ed and Chimball!!!!:)
Thanks for the helping hand big ed. It was appriciated1:D

After the first few months of my membership I ran out of ideas for responses to some of the other threads where I could be of some help, and since very few people were interested in my bridges :eek:hwell::thumbsdown:I haven't been logging on that much since then!!!:)I keep pretty busy building bridges for people that look at my Bonanza booth web site!;)
Anyway Chimball when ever you are ready for a bridge here is my e-mail address: [email protected]
Just for the hell of it big ed, do you remember our little chit-chat about the Z scale covered bridge!!!:);) I listed it also on my Bonanza site and have since sold 3 more of them:D whaddya think of that:laugh:
Cheers,:) Dave

To Chimball and others,

I'm gonna chime in quickly just to offer an enthusiastic thumbs-up to David's custom bridges ... first class work all the way. Perhaps not an every-day item for every layout, but well worth the investment for the discriminating modeler and layout.

Hi TJ,

I was surprised to see such a quick reply to that thread yesterday because it was "Super Bowl Sunday" but then I remembered you are always there as always looking at the new threads and comments:).
Thanks for the thumbs-up:D

Outstanding work! YOU are a talented guy!!
I'm seriously thinking of putting a covered bridge across a small river on my layout but until I create the river, and the road to cross over it, I have no idea of what size I need.
Once I get to that stage I'll be contacting you for a quote. If I send a photo of a covered bridge that I like could you try to duplicate it?
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,
Yes I can build one from a picture you send me. We will just have to decide on the dimensions you need.

Cheers, Dave
