I don't think ebay has a separate segment just for trains. My guess is you got onto someone else's site, a company that specializes in model trains and such. That said, on ebay, I use the search line to narrow it down to what I want. For example, if you type in HO train, it's going to give you every engine, car, accessory or book that has HO and train in it's description. If you type in HO train diesel engine, it's going to search for any offering that has all or most of those terms in the description.
