The 765 is a GREAT one, Paul. Photos of this beautiful engine are always appreciated.

Here's Union Pacific's eastbound City of Portland (Oregon) making its way through southern Wyoming. Looks like the trailing E8A belongs to The Milwaukee Road, painted in UP colors. Easy to see why many regard much of Wyoming east of the Rockies as an ugly wasteland.

Vern, that certainly is a barren wasteland but it is also beautiful country. I wouldn't want to model it on my layout, but then I wouldn't want to model forest land either. IMHO even though it's beautiful country it's just to monotonous for my layout.

I took this photo in Newburgh, NY about 15 years ago. The train was coming and I just got my camera out but didn't have time to move to a better location so the light pole is in the way.

That is a great idea, Peter. It will make setting the layout up much easier. :appl:
