You might want to think hard about this.......spray with Testor's Glosscoat....don't know if that would work, but you could try it on the damaged body and see how it looks....

Havent had time to try anything yet... life got in the way... lol. But i will get to it at some point. Wife has broken ankle, so all my spare time is taken up with driving and housework. etc

Update..
