My MEC (now Rutland) mikado the rear truck was binding and derailing. Turns out the guide pin was binding on the frame. After consulting Dave at Lionel, it turns out the factory did not assemble correctly and even added a extra washer. This is the correct build for the guide post.

Nice. I wonder if that's in a service bulletin from Lionel or we just have to find out as it happens?

I have the engine at work. Not only did I have to fix this issue, I re-wicked the smoke unit as this engine is prone to spitting. No matter how much you blow down the stackl
