FS HO Engines--PRICES REDUCED!!!!
Cleaning out the train room and workshop. I have a few Athearn Blue Box locos that I wish to sell. All are in good shape, but need rail time. All run and would make fine additions to anyone's layout. These belonged to my Dad and are pretty much NW or NS flagged engines. Most are weathered, though not heavily. Most have Kadee #5 couplers. I can change couplers to horn hook or Bachman EZ Mate couplers if desired.
Shipping and handling will be $7.50 flat fee per unit shipped USPS. Engines will come in a box(Athearn Blue Boxes as well as the shipping box. Each will be carefully packed to prevent shipping damage. If you wish insurance, buyer will be responsible for paying for additional charge. PayPal only.
Engine#1 -- Unpowered unit Athearn Blue Box NW SD40-2, Road #6081 w/porch, moderately weathered, Kadee couplers. I can change out coupler to horn hook or Bachman EZ Mates if desired. Rails are complete. --- WAS $20/Now $17.50.

Engine #8 --Powered, either Life Like or Bachman, made in Yugoslavia, SF Warbonnet U628C Road #8731, unweathered, Horn hook couplers, but one is missing at rear. Retainer is missing but I know it can be repaired quite easily. I will send another Couple with the unit. If you would rather have EZ Mates let me know and I will send a set. Talgo type drivers, couplers are attached to the trucks. Analog. -- WAS $25/NOW $20

The Athearn Blue Box engines are prime candidates for DCC upgrades should you wish to pursue that avenue. All need some track time as they have been only marginally run in the past 3-4 years. I have always made it a practice to bring all unused engines out every couple of months for a couple of laps.
I am offering these units to members of this site BEFORE placing them on Ebay.
