Just thought I'd post this up, I had a blast testing these out. Both locos are DC with loco genie decoders (DCC capable as well). Right now I'm running on DC with an older Bachmann power pack.

Both locos are pancake motors and all cars are either Tyco or Bachmann, mostly plastic wheels.

We also have a Chattanooga 0-8-0 that for some reason just will not take the genie. I tried and tried, but cannot get it to run correctly. That's even with a new motor that runs pretty smooth and out pulls both of the pancakes easily. So no sound for that one. I was gifted a Harry Potter Bachmann train, so I'll try it on that one. Sorry no video of the 0-8-0.

All these were from a $60 eBay lot. I spent some time cleaning up wheels, tuning you the locos and adjusting couplers.

Thanks, I'm pretty stoked about them. Remote control and sound for a cheap pancake loco equals silly fun! My 7yo will love them.
