I'm going to a funeral this afternoon. Bob Phlllips' dad passed away last Saturday. He was 98. He served in WWll as a Tech Sergeant and was honored for his service the day before he passed. He got to wear his uniform one last time.

Those of you who are in the O Scale part of the forum has met Bob at York. I go there with him every October. He runs the TM Video booth in the Orange Hall across from Harry Heike and the LCCA.

Bob told me his dad built his first layout for him and also built the house they are currently living in. It was a pleasure to know him.

My condolences to to Bob and his family. And I line up with the crowd thanking his Dad for his service, he certainly deserves to be honored for that. Because of folks like him, we still live in this great and free country! :)

RIP, Mr. Phillips. Fair winds.

Sounds like a life well-lived, with discipline and integrity.

Condolences to his family and friends.
