HI
I changed out my stock decoder in my bl plymouth switcher to a digitrax z scale decoder so I would have better command of that engine and when I put it on the programming track with my new zepher express and tried to prgram Cv1 with my 2 digit address I get a message no decoder, ack pulse. What is that? could I have wires reversed on the motor and trucks?
thanks

presumably the command station is not seeing the current pulse (S-9.2.3 Service Mode Basic Acknowledgement) generated by the decoder to communicate information back to the programmer on the programming track. it does this by applying full voltage across the motor terminals for 6 msec.

seems like the decoder is either not connected to the track or the motor
