I’m getting my Z scale layout going, and am ready to put in cork roadbed for Marklin rigid track. Any hints gluing the track down? Better to do piece at a time,
or in sections? Apply glue to the cork or the track? All purpose Elmer glue okay?
Guess I don’t seem to know much. That’s why I’m here. Thanks

I never fooled with Z scale tracks. I guess that is why you are not getting replies here.
Not many model Z scale.
This I found he uses nails and glue for the bed. You need some nice needle nose plyers for holding the tiny nails.
One part says you don't have to use too many nails.
Check it out,

Post a thread of your Z scale build, in the Z scale forum.
We need more threads for our Z scale forum, you making a thread might pull in some other Z scalers who are searching the Net for info.

Hello, I am at the stage of fixing my layout 8'by 3'.
Planning to use just a little "Crazy Glue" but very little, so I can change my mind down the line.
Using a putty knife or a very slim or thin blade.
It works like a charm, although I glue to a thin sheet of plywood, painted,
will do the same for the roads and streets.

Good luck,
