Went fishing on a cold morn.
The fish were biting,
as was the cold
The cold won out,
and I went home.
So, the fish had a good day.

They were catfish, and sans scales. They were good at catching mice apparently.

Guys,
I try to look at and understand your posts but what in the world does any of this have to with model railroading?
I have tried to interject some humor along the way but I guess I am missing why would you all be on this forum?
Got to be other avenues (forums) for you all??

Well, to be fair, this is the Union Station section, where off topic discussions about things other than trains can be bantered about.....like fishing, for instance, or poetry.......

Yep, that is why they made Union Station.

I do it purposefully. I do it for humor, in hopes thatI can bring a smile to anyone who cares to read. I do it in order to illicit some deeper thinking and get those brain cells reactivated. I do it because I like to do it. I hope I have succeeded in some of my desires. I also do it for all of the folks who read, and, hopefully offer a comment.

And, if the topic changes, so be it. It's a free site, and often my posts take a side track, and sometimes end up in the roundhouse. There, see, it is about trains, of any scale.

I do enjoy your musings Bob.....sometimes they go off track, sometimes even de-rail.....and every now and then, you seem to have a loco motive....but you always find a way to "tie" them all together.....

Teach you to go fishing on a cold day.

Rainy days and Sundays always bring me down.
Some of my best fishing expeditions were done in the rain, not a heavy rain but on a overcast drizzly day.
Why Sundays?

Actually, it should have been Rainy days and Mondays always bring me down. I just forgot how the line went.
Do you think fish know it's raining? Do they stay under water to keep from getting wet from the rain?

OK, but I asked Alice.;)
When I was working I hated Mondays too, now Monday is just like any other day.
Last few days were just beeeeutifull, I am enjoying them, finishing up outside work.
I know the jungle weather will be here soon.
Put off power washing the rest of my house till that weather hits. I like doing it then as you get wet while doing it.
Then all I will have to do is ride around cutting the grass on my Snapper.
I have a can of air horn and a blinking red led light for the ride around.:)
