So I bought a copy of the big three by s. Kip farrington off eBay and got it on Saturday. I picked the book up this evening and have about a quarter of the book read in the matter of a couple hours. If anyone is a Santa Fe steam fan and wants to possibly learn about the prototype locomotives this book is an excellent read. I haven’t picked up a book since high school until now and glad I grabbed this one! Great info in book and even goes as far as having the Santa Fe blue prints in it. Covers the 5011 class 2-10-4, the big northers and the 3460 class Hudson’s.
