Could you ship this to the UK as "second hand railway modelling parts" (to avoid paying customs charges)?
If so, at what cost for postage? Paypal is no problem.

The area code is NP11, it is near to Newport, South Wales.

The postage cost will be the same as any other mainland UK destination, I believe.

Jeff,

According to the U.S. Post Office, there is no customs fee, only a declaration of content form I fill out. Customs fees apply only if shipped by private carriers such as Fed Ex, UPS, etc.

If shipped via the USPS "slow boat" (12-14) days, the postage is about $25.00 (not counting the added weight of a box and newspaper packaging). By USPS Priority mail, it's about $55.00+ and should take around 7-10 days.

Thanks for the postage quote.
As always, shipping on a single item kills it for me I'm afraid.
At least I know now that the quotes I get from US suppliers are genuine and not rip-offs.
