Good Evening All, I have always admired this wonderful hobby from afar and have not had trains since I was 10 but I am contemplating getting involved.
I have limited space so Im looking to go N, I should be able to achieve something decent.

I will listening and watching and on occasion asking some questions bare with me if I sound like I don't know what I'm talking about, I probably don't

Welcome to the forum! Don't worry about asking questions, or "sounding like you don't know what you're talking about." We all start out as "newbies" and nobody, no matter how experienced, knows everything about this hobby.

How much space do you have for your N-scale layout? Do you have a particular place, railroad, or time period, that you would like to model? For example I model the Milwaukee Road near Seattle, WA. in the 1920s. The files below are some that I wrote to help new model railroaders, like you, planning their first model railroad. Look through them if you want. You may find some information that will help you get started.
