As much as I don't care for Face Book...the Local Market Place is a great source of Model Train shopping!! Found a guy who lives in Green Bay and has quite the collection of items for sale. Was going to buy a Nickel Plate 2-8-4 Berkie...but he sold it at a Train meet the day before...so I ended up buying a Rivarossi UP Grey Challenger and a 4-6-2 Chipewa for $180!! Both are in immaculate condition and just have to put a Kadee on the Challenger Tender...Dan Latenslager is his name and he does a great job with both Locomotives and Rolling Stock!

Good deal, how have you been?
Business good?

Hey, watch the what looks like a bridge on the boxes.
Looks like it is going to take a nose dive off the box.
See a ship waiting to be built too. :)

I hardly ever go on Facebook, I will have to check out the Local Market place thing. Never heard of it, Thanks

Sure Did!

Hey Old_Hobo, yeah both came with original boxes and paperwork!! Dan does a great job working and conditioning these old DC Locomotives and has quite the setup in his basement(his pricing is very fair indeed)...he also has HO, O , Walthers , Athearn Atlas, Marx, Lionel and American Flyer available as well. He usually hits the local Toy and Train shows here in NE Wisconsin:thumbsup:

I did check the market place, local around me. Looks like a lot think they have gold trains. :D
But there was a nice fishing poles and tackle for sale at $50 bucks, not a bad deal. I didn't buy it as I have a ton now.
But I will check them out once and a while.

When you retire your supposed to STOP working and enjoy life.:p

Me? I am hanging up my steering wheel by June maybe sooner.
Took my 2 weeks vacation in February, taking 2 more weeks as I type, got in 2 sick days, I have 3 left, then take my 5 personal days and anytime after that it is adios amigo's.
Waited for my bonus from last year as it is paid in March and you got to be there to collect it. Just under 5 grand this year.

Once I get all I can get if dispatch pisses me off I will just walk.
They know it is coming, I warned them by June I am gone and that last sentence above I told that to them too. :p

The last driver that gave them notice of over 6 months in advance got all the crappie loads, they start that with me it is goodbye tomorrow.

Part time work, Hell no not me.:smokin:

Though I do have another company asking if I would like to work part time just picking up loads, my choice of days.
I told them thanks but no thanks. :D

Ed I came up with a new idea for my retirement...and my wife just rolls her eyes...I'm going to buy lots of Model Trains, fix them up...and sell them out of my Garage...you'd be shocked at the Tourists who flock into this area and that way I can sit in the garage with my son's old college Fridge...drink beer, talk crap, and make money all at the same time...Now THAT sounds like fun and make money to Boot:smilie_daumenpos::laugh::laugh::laugh: Nw if I knew a guy who could score me a Trailer:thumbsup::laugh::laugh: Hey just go out on your terms...sounds like Bureaucratic Office BS to me...anyway keep your chin up and on your last day go our the door like Stone Cold Steve Austin...can I get a "HELL YEAH"!!
