I'm just getting back into the hobby after a 30 year diversion.

I'm starting with several Bachmann starter sets since my 3 YO son, James, is my model RR buddy. He really loves the trains and enjoys operating the floor layout with my help. What a great way to spend time with a kid.

I'm hoping to learn about DCC and the various manufacturers and models out today.

Welcome back to the hobby. Sharing trains with a three year old is a great way to return. My little grandson and granddaughter love them.
