Hey guys,

My name is John Spencer. I'm the owner of the domain name modeltrain.net.

I'm a lifelong model railroader, but haven't had much time to devote to the hobby for a while now (sadly!). I was wondering if any members of this forum would be interested in being writers on the modeltrain.net blog I've set up? (Not sure if any of you remember, but years ago the site was a resource for hobbyists). I thought it would be a cool/fun project.

If so, shoot me a reply and let me know what you think.

All the best,
John

Hey,

I'm not sure exactly and am certainly open to suggestions. My thoughts are that it is a great domain that should do well in the search engines (especially because it was once ranked very highly). As such, it can be an excellent resource for people to find out more about railroading, share fun stories, tips, images, layouts etc. Would love to hear your thoughts/suggestions. The idea is to contribute to the community in a meaningful and collaborative way.

By the way: I have linked to the Model Train Forum from modeltrain.net (in the blogroll in the righthand column).
