A scenery question - The photo is of a "swan pond" than I am not using - BUT - i am looking to purchase a skating rink that s similar but with a more vertical white walls -
At the moment - t it is stark - how and what can i add to make it look (as my grandfather would say) - look like i growed there
or
How can i make this more realistic

Apply some mosslike material to the walls. If you need some, I've got real stuff aplenty growing on my stone walls here in SW PA.

An added note. Since I read one of your posts last year, I acquired quite a collection of Frykman Santas. Three are on my layout, and the rest get put out at Christmas. A big thanks for turning me on to just another thing I "HAD" to collect.

This pond sits up. A pond is close to level ground or below. The ideal condition is inlay it on your table top. Or build up around it with foam. At least build up the back side. The picture you are showing is meant to be colored but you are doing an ice rink.
