Up to a Bachmann 2-6-2 Prairie (next model up from your link) can run on a 15 degree radius. Anything larger is tight on the 15. As for 18 I have run 0-8-0s and 4-4-0 on it without issues. Keep in mind that the wheel size and spacing will make a difference. Also some manufacturers only put ribs on the front and rear wheels so that their steamers could make tighter turns. I have an old 0-4-0 Mantua Bee that can take 12 degree and less without binding. Have a copy of an add with it running on a track mounted on the brim of a ladies hat.

Greg,

Ohh ... that clarifies things a bit ...

His track is likely a 15" radius, and it covers a 15 degree arc ... i.e., a "half piece" as you say ... 12 "regular" pieces to make a circle, 24 "half" pieces to make a circle.

Tanks,

TJ

How have your ordering experiences been with Trainworldonline.com? Looks like some good stuff with some decent prices. Just curious if anyone had good or bad experience with them or any other online companies. Thanks.

We recently were warned that internettrains.com was fraudulent, but I've not heard anything bad about Trainworldonline.com. Anybody else???
