Ho tranformer

I'm looking for a good powersupply to run a layout that is not to expensive??
something that can run 1 or 5 lines.

I have a Mcr Train power 6200 60va. Is this to big for Ho??? I used this for my g-scale trains. I'm not sure I do not have the paper work.

Can You explaine blocks? I never ran more than one train off of one transformer.
