We are still setting up our layout and running at 4 shows per year in the Houston area. Here is a YouTube short from last weekend's run...

It takes us about 1.5 hours to unload from our trailer, set up the 14 modules in an oval, connect the rails between modules, put out the scenery, and connect all of the cabling and the DCC equipment. Then it's about another hour to populate the rails with rolling stock and locos. Then the same to pack up up at the end of the show. A labor of love that we do 4 times per year. I still look forward to every show and always try to bring some new project that I have completed to show off. Plenty of other videos of our layout operating are available on my channel...

Chuck:

Great Galveston Train Museum depot videos from 2021, etc.! I did
not know your group was doing those shows, and I did not make it
down to this year's show a month or so ago. I will keep an eye out for
your group at the shows in the Houston area, although I am not an S-gauger.

I have run across 6 American Flyer railcars, all apparently unused and NIB,
in the Tomball area. These may be Lionel products, as they are all new
looking boxes (not decades old) and the end flap numbers are:
6-48381, 6-48342, 6-48390, 6-48364, 6-48531, and 6-48741, like a typical
Lionel product numbering used until recent years .

They are not mine nor in my possession, but I am curious as to their value
(since not listed in the Lionel Greenburg's book) . thanks,

Feel free to stop by and say Hi. We do 4 shows per year:

Houston Area Model Train Show in Pearland in November
Texas City Museum Show in October
RailFest at the Galveston Railroad Museum in April
Greater Houston Train Show in Pasadena in February

To check the value on those I would search for them on ebay to see what they are selling for. Trainz.com might also be a good source.

Those cars were from different catalog years, 2003 through 2011. My estimate is the selling prices on a good day would average out to $40 each. They are all listed in the American Flyer price guide by Greenberg.
