Or really anyone that can give me any information on a train set I recently came into possession of.. This is obviously a Varney Pennsylvania, the engine is 5796a.. but beyond it being very old.. thats all I have.. has anyone ever seen it.. scouring the interweb yeilded nada.

There might even be an locomotive tear down diagram in there. I didn't look.

Is there a set number on your box?
I am pretty sure that one is your set.
Though I don't know if they offered other sets in different years.
But that looks like yours.
