I have spent several hours combing through archives trying to find an image of the strap iron rail snakehead in action. I recall seeing one wood carving type print of a snakehead crashing into the interior wooden coach, to the passenger's dismay, but now I cannot find a single visual reference to the snakehead of old. Absolutely not one image. Descriptions, there are many, but not one picture of a snakehead in action.

Can anyone post a link or an image of this accident?

Thank you in advance.

Yep, many descriptions, no images, for a video project on early steam I'm working on. Once I saw this Currier and Ives
type portrait of a strap rail busting through the floor of a passenger coach, cannot find it, or anything like it, anywhere.
