I'm thinking about bidding on this ebay auction for an Atlas HO GP-38 Diesel Burlington Northern No 7022.

But the engine was made in Austria. Is this something I should be worried about or is it a plus?

Is the $50 reasonable? Doesn't seem like much.

I'm just looking for feedback.

Atlas used to get their stuff from many manufacturers back then and one of the advantages was that these were actualy made by Roco so they have a good pedigree, I think $50 is about the price you should pay as long as it's not damaged and in good running condition, I don't have any of their American outline stock but the European equipment was ahead of the field in terms of traction, pick-up, scale and detail.
