And much to my delight as I'm a long time Rivarossi and albeit fairly recent B&O fan.

Got these yesterday, B&O passenger cars and an E8, ebay finds. Cars were a bargain at $65 for all, E8 not so much at $40, but I'm a sucker for E8's.

Most of the cars are equipped with Kadees, but two have NMRA's. The E8 has NMRA's but my B&O F7 has Kadees so it got the hauling assignment.

Shouldn't be that hard to convert that E8 to Kadee's.....

Nice find. Good looking equipment. I have a similar set with Athearn heavyweights and one AHM RPO car as well.

My Rivarossi E is not a great puller. It will handle a few cars ok. It struggled after adding an A unit dummy along with the RPO. Extra weight and a look at the traction situation probably in order.
You got a great deal on those.

They negotiate 20" curves (center rail) just fine, haven't tried them on inner 18" yet.

I need to get traction tires for many of my diesel locomotives including the E8, but I haven't tried it yet pulling cars. Got to get the coupler problem resolved first. F7 does fine. I still have two more cars to add after I put on those Kadees, but I need long arm couplers.

Great looking consist. I remember my Great Uncle having a B&O locomotive and consist many many years ago.

My e units are either brass or p2k. Maybe I’ll try a rivarossi one day

Thought that was a pretty good buy for $65, but my son found this lot at a flea market for $10 yesterday. Warm sudsy water clean-up and rinse and around the track they go.
