If anyone is interested, I posted an ad in Marketplace For Sale Or Trade, to sell K-Line wide 27 inch radius, or 54 inch diameter, curved track sections. These are American Flyer style track that assembles to make wider curves, which should allow double tracking around standard AF track. It did not accept more than one picture, I will put two here, if interested I can supply more. Please see ad for more details, contact me if interested, thank you. Wood Font Jewellery Art Pattern

Please forgive my possibly confusing description. This track is S gauge, the same as traditional American Flyer. What is "wide" is the speed of curvature. Each section turns 30 degrees, it just takes more forward travel to do it, so the curve is broader, hence each piece is longer than original AF track. I'm not doubting anyone's reading comprehension, but I do question my explanatory skills. Please see picture. Auto part Fashion accessory Metal Art Font

Mopac I still have a dry cough but nowhere near as before. Thanks for asking.
As to those K-Line curves didn't know you had gotten so much. My entire main lines are new K-line or Lionel (after they bought K-Line) even though I have a ton of AF track. I used K-Line new because I wanted the shiney rail head prototype look. As to you building a layout, go for it and do it to the best of your ability. Didn't you say you had an HO layout once? I have done 3 HO layouts in the Athern "Blue Box" era, or pre DCC, many years ago when I didn't have as much room as I have now for my Flyer layout. I just bought Flyer at random whenever I found it. I used the same building techniques when I built what I have now only adjusting for the S gauge difference. I learned a long time ago to not try to copy or compare what I have to another person's layout. Not saying I don't change something that I have seen in a magazine or copied a structure. Just like cars, there will always be somebody better. Just get started! Your railroad, your layout style.
I will say I use Tom's layout for inspiration. I my humble opinion his is the gold standard on the Forum.
