I am trying to restore an old K Line caboose and can't figure out how to take it apart without breaking something. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. This one has a bay window. I didn't realize you could download Lionel drawings. How do you get to them

You start with the Lionel Main site.
Go to customer service.
Then go to owner manuals.
Then I searched "caboose."
The supplements have all sorts of info from the MPC days to 2004 or so.
You need to see the index of each one to see what it has.
There is no easy way to search in the supplementals.
The bay window is probably there you just have to spend the time to find it.
