So I viewed you tube videos of the Portram and Centram Kato trams, and am interested. What really intrigued me was

watching the trams run on the Kato Unitram track, and saw the you tuber pick up a derailment, and literally set

it right back on the track and have it rerail itself and take off. I've owned HO, ON30, and O scale and never saw

anyone simply drop a car or loco onto the track and had it rerail instantly. It's really of interest to me since my

hands are shaky and I really want to have a fun layout in a minimal space. Is it the trams or is it the track, or is it

both that allowed instant rerailing? It would be so helpful to me if what I see on you tube worked as well for me.

There was a discussion about them on an N Scale forum I belong to and I can tell you that they are almost impossible to put a DCC decoder in.I was thinking about them for my own layout.
